Cumulative GPA formula: (Previous quality points + New quality points) / (Previous credits + New credits).
If your previous GPA is 3.5 with 60 credits, that is 210 quality points. Adding 15 new credits with a 3.8 semester GPA (57 quality points) gives: (210 + 57) / (60 + 15) = 267 / 75 = 3.56
